What we do

Sugar Hill Nurseries grows and sells over 50 varieties of top-quality balled and burlapped trees and shrubs. We are a wholesaler.

  • Our customers include landscape contractors, re-wholesalers, brokers, municipalities, and retailers.
  • We have over 300 acres in production.
  • We dig trees up to a 7-inch caliper.
  • We have shipped trees to 31 states and counting.

Who we are

Roland Leblanc is the general manager of Sugar Hill. Roland has over 30 years’ experience managing a wholesale tree nursery, and has been at Sugar Hill since 1999. He has owned and operated a landscape design and installation business.

Denise Johnston has been our salesperson and shipping coordinator since 1999. She has a degree in marketing and has worked in the commercial landscaping industry. Denise is a Master Gardener of the American Horticultural Society.

Jamie Arrington manages our field operations. Jamie worked in the tree brokerage business for 7 years before coming to Sugar Hill in 2007. He has a forestry degree, is an ISA Certified Arborist, and serves as a board member of the Georgia Green Industry Association (GGIA) and is a past board member of the Georgia Urban Forest Council (GUFC).

Alicia Ridgway (2004) handles the office management for Sugar Hill.

Sugar Hill has a capable, experienced field crew.
