We don’t have annuals, bedding plants, or grasses. We don’t dig on contract, hire out our pruning crew, or sell anything at retail. We are focused on one thing.
We grow, dig and sell wholesale trees. And we do it better than anyone else.

Here’s how:

We have wonderful soil for trees. Our Georgia Piedmont soils are loamy clays, which are just perfect for growing trees and digging a tight rootball. These soils also hold moisture well, ensuring that our trees get to the jobsite in great shape, ready to plant.

Sugar Hill trees come from superior plant stock. Our general manager, Roland Leblanc, buys directly from several liner producers, located all over the country, picking the varieties they grow best. He chooses the cultivars that your customer wants.

Jamie Arrington, our field manager, and his crew take great care to plant them in a well-prepared soil bed and at the appropriate depth. Trees are staked as necessary to make sure that your customer will end up with a perfect tree.

All of our trees enjoy regular doses of fertilizer and micronutrients. All of our trees are under drip irrigation. We manage a full pesticide and herbicide program, so your customer will end up with a perfect tree.

When you place an order, our seasoned, professional crew produces a tight rootball that’s easy to handle at the jobsite The tree is perfectly centered in the rootball, and the ball is the right size for that caliper of tree of that species. As a premier wholesale tree nursery, Sugar Hill makes sure that your customer gets what’s expected.

We also have an irrigated, covered holding shed for summer digging. We can send you trees in the summer that have acclimated in a shady, damp shed on cool concrete. Those are trees that are ready to take a truck ride and still arrive at a summertime jobsite looking lush and healthy.

Denise Johnston, our salesperson, coordinates with you to get the trees you need. She also arranges shipping to suit your customer’s needs. Sugar Hill makes sure that your customer gets the order on time.
